Meridian is a private research practice, not a consumer platform. We collect little, hold it briefly and never trade it. This notice explains the limited personal information we handle and how we treat it.
What we collect
Only what an enquiry requires.
When you contact the desk we receive the details you choose to send — typically a name, a professional email address, an organisation and the substance of your question. We do not operate advertising trackers, we do not build behavioural profiles, and the site sets no non-essential cookies.
Standard server logs (IP address, request time, user agent) are retained transiently for security and reliability and are not used to identify individuals.
How it is used
To answer the question, and nothing more.
Lawful basis
We rely on legitimate interest in responding to professional enquiries, and on contract where an engagement is agreed.
No sale, no sharing
We do not sell, rent or disclose your information to third parties for marketing. Limited processors (email, hosting) act only on our instruction.
Retention and security
Held briefly. Handled carefully.
Enquiry correspondence is retained only for as long as it is useful to the relationship or required by law, then deleted. Engagement records are held under the confidentiality terms of the mandate. Access is restricted, transfers are encrypted in transit, and client identities and mandates are never published.
Your rights
Access, correction, erasure.
You may ask what we hold about you, request correction or deletion, or object to further contact. Where applicable data-protection law applies, we honour the rights it grants. To exercise any of these, write to the desk and we will respond within a reasonable period.
